Aims and Objectives

This course covers a range of contemporary topics in industrial economics and regulation. By the end of the course, students should:

  • be able to use game theoretic models to analyse strategic interaction among firms and understand how different market structures arise;
  • understand key elements of auction design and network economics;
  • understand key issues in competition economics and regulation.

Assessment

A two-hour examination in June.
