Arina Nikandrova

We are most pleased to welcome Arina to our Department this year.

Arina Nikandrova has PhD from the University of Cambridge and she is joining Birkbeck after two years of work experience at the NERA Economic Consulting Competition Policy and Antitrust Practice in London. Arina’s research interests lie in Economic Theory and Game Theory. She studies issues concerning rational herding in financial markets and its welfare implications; repeated games with boundedly rational players; competing auctions and optimal selling mechanisms with stochastic populations.
